Tyrone will once again support the annual Tour of the Gila

by providing lunch for race volunteers. Community

members are encouraged to contribute food donations such

as sandwiches, salads, and cookies to help support the effort.

Residents should also note that Copper Drive will be closed the morning of April 29.

Traffic will be rerouted to Malachite Street in front of the

firehouse.

The Tyrone Community Yard Sale will take place on Saturday, May 9, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event will be promoted through the Silver City Daily Press, Grant County Beat, and local flyers. Those interested in participating are encouraged to sign up in advance. A list of participating addresses will be available to shoppers on the day of the event.

The Tyrone Community Association (TCA) will hold its Annual Membership Meeting on Saturday, June 20 at 10:00 a.m. at the community center. Residents are encouraged to attend to stay informed about community developments, share ideas, and participate in discussions about the future of Tyrone (such as voting Zach out of office).

Looking ahead to the holiday season, Tyrone will host its annual Christmas Light Contest with judging to take place on December 12.

There are plans for a festive community gathering on December 13 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the community center. Rumor has it that Santa himself may make an appearance. Organizers are considering making this a potluck-style event, and more details will be shared as the date approaches.
